Cured By A Ray Of Light?

The UV light destroyed all of the remaining bacteria and viruses that our filter systems didn’t remove. Our water was squeaky clean. Actually, you could have said that our infected water was no longer infected!

It’s been a long time since I have thought about this process until the other day when I came across an article about Niels Ryberg Finsen who demonstrated that UV light radiation cured patients who had diseases of the skin or mucous membrane and that was back in the 1880’s.

It amazes me that today we tell people to stay out of the sun because the sun’s UV rays will cause cancer and yet back in the 1880’s they used it to cure it and other skin diseases. 

Consider this --- Finsen and his followers treated over 2,000 patients and had a success rate of 98%. That work earned Finsen the Nobel Prize in 1903.

Subsequent researchers from around the world, including the U.S., achieved comparable success treating lesser infections like mumps, with topical UV light therapy.

Skip to the 1930’s and UV light therapy took a giant leap forward when it became a blood treatment. Diseases such as asthma, arthritis, AIDS, cancer and a host of other chronic and terminal diseases were given this treatment with great success.

AIDS I know came later then the 30’s. AIDS patients were not cured with UV therapy but they were able to get up out of bed and go back to work. In a Los Angeles hospital, polio was cured years before a vaccine was discovered.

How does it work? It is well known that ultra violet light has antibacterial properties and so blood was drawn from the patient and treated with UV light (killing all the contagion in the blood) then immediately re-injected back into the patient.

The cleansing reduced the amount of infection and caused a strengthening of the patient’s immune system to further combat that infection.

In 1944, two researchers from Washington State, Dr. Virgil K Hancock and Mr. Emmett K. Knott, presented their findings on blood irradiation: “Clinical experiments have further determined the beneficial energy stored up in the rayed blood temporarily, and if such blood can be returned to the bloodstream immediately after it has been irradiated, it will throw off secondary irradiation which will stimulate and energize the patient.”

By that point, the two researchers had treated over 6,800 patients, many of whom had life threatening infections and had failed to respond to conventional treatments. The UV treatments worked in virtually every case and caused no side effects.

Records show that in Russia, UV light therapy, for years, has been successfully used as a major treatment in place of expensive anti-biotics.

Here in the U.S., interest was lost in continuing work with UV light when anti-biotics were discovered and I would venture to say that most doctors today have never even heard of UV light therapy for curing major diseases.

Ultra Violet light therapy is cheap and proven effective on its own, or in combination with other treatments, but there is no profit value to the drug companies, our FDA, AMA, AHA and on and on. If they can’t make big money with a treatment, the treatment gets ignored. There motto, “Find a better way with drugs!”

All is not lost though. As I understand it, there are still some doctors out there using this form of treatment. Imagine, cures without drugs and even if you are taking drugs or chemo-therapy, UV light treatment will speed up the process.
